Chepstow Castle, Wales

01 October 2011

My friend Rachel is a fab travel agent who has been everywhere…except for Wales. When I had posted that Andrew and I were going to Wales for the day Rachel got excited. She asked if I could take her to Wales when she came to visit us. I LOVE Wales and any chance I get I am going. Since we decided to bring Brittany with us, I choose a few locations that allowed dogs.

Our first stop of the day was Chepstow castle. Chepstow Castle is on a cliff overlooking the River Wye. This location was important to William the Conqueror and construction of the castle began in 1067.

Rachel can now saw that she has been to Wales.

Family picture at the castle…because you know…why not.

I was so happy to find the loo. I love discover how they took care of things way back when.

In case there was any doubt that Brittany really was a Queen. Here is Queen Brittany in her castle tower.

It was now time for laying on the grass and enjoying some ice cream before we explored our next stop.
