The White Cliffs of Dover, England

04 June 2012

So we awoke to another cold, windy and rainy day. Plus it is foggy. But I am determined that Andrew is not leaving England without seeing the White Cliffs of Dover. Because of the weather we left Brittany in the car where she would be warm and dry whilst we hiked along the cliffs. Before we got to the start of the trail I was wishing I had a hat and gloves to wear. And a much warmer jacket.

This is at the start of our walk. Notice the hands that are hidden so they don't get frost bitten. And look at how wet Andrew is already.

We drove by Dover Castle. As much as I wanted to explore it I just could not get out of the car again. At this point we were soaked through to our skin and on the verge of hypothermia.

Dover is a traditional sea-side town.

As we were leaving Dover for our drive to the next stop on our whistle stop farewell tour of England, the sun started to shine.
