Stonehenge, England

23 April 2011

Since we are going to the Salisbury Plains to explore Imber it would have been wrong to not stop at Stonehenge.

Stonehenge is prehistorice ring of standing stones set within earthworks that date back to 3000 BC to 2000 BC. The blue stones that make up Stonehenge came from Wales. Cremated human remains have been found on the site that date back to 3000 BC. The true purpose of the stone circle is not known. Stonehenge is a place of mystery and legends.
